Hemp Happy Farms came to us seeking new ways to attract online customers.

Their old site featured only a handful of product photos, PayPal “Buy Now” buttons, and was built with GoDaddy’s GoCentral Website Builder—a basic WYSIWYG editor.

At the time, builders like GoCentral and Wix generated bloated, hard-to-read code that hindered search engines from properly crawling and ranking the site. They offered no straightforward way to add or fine-tune critical SEO elements—heading tags, meta descriptions, structured data, and so on.

Another drawback was scalability. While these platforms can be an easy, low-cost starting point, business owners quickly discovered their limits when they tried to add custom features or upgrade the design. In other words, they outgrew the site.

Once that happened, migration became the only option—and migrating a site off a builder usually means a complete, manual rebuild from scratch.

Our Solution

To set Hemp Happy Farms up for long-term success, we designed and developed a fully custom website on WordPress—a robust, scalable, open-source CMS—and implemented a secure, full-featured eCommerce storefront.

  • We created a unique look and feel to match their brand.

  • We moved them onto WordPress, giving them full control over content and SEO.

  • We integrated a secure shopping cart, payment gateways, and inventory management.

According to W3Techs, WordPress now powers roughly 34% of all websites on the internet—including those built without any CMS or on custom platforms.

We also designed a new logo that appeared on their product packaging, business cards, promotional apparel, and more.

For ongoing support, we provided:

  • Onsite SEO and digital-marketing tactics

  • Content updates and editorial management

  • Hosting and daily database backups

  • Performance monitoring via Google Analytics and Search Console

By the time Hemp Happy Farms closed its doors, their new site had driven a significant surge in online sales—and they’d become a recognized provider of hemp-based products across their market.
